Eli's first day of first grade. My first day of opening the first school for homeless children, the first in a charter district in Arizona. The first time I stopped and considered addressing a concern with a co-worker face to face. The first time I did it. The first time I let - that's right Joe P - let my kids beat me in wrestling! Hard fought, but a shot to a stomach full of Lenny's chocolate ice cream made all the difference.
Brilliant!

Oh- I find First grade so much more of a milestone than kindergarten. Congrats Eli!
Jarret, we find it very amusing that you blog. MOre so because it's not so much about your family as your thoughts. And might I add, your thoughts crack us up. A lot. We particularlly enjoyed the "four generation" and unsolicted advice. We hope to hear more from you.
And we would also like to get together in the not to distant future. hint hint.
I agree with Brittney:) Congrats on the new job, by the way. Glad you're doing something you enjoy.
Sweet! That is the way to a mans heart I hear, right through the stomach.
